Golf Courses in Aberdeen Cults and Deeside

For golf enthusiasts, there are over 70 golf courses in the Grampian area and several of these are within easy driving distance of the Cults Hotel – Hazlehead GC (P+P), Deeside GC, Craibstone GC (P+P), Newmachar GC, Banchory GC, Inchmarlo GC, Aboyne GC, Ballater GC, and Braemar GC.

Opened in September 2004, The Aspire Golf Centre is quite possibly the finest golf practice facility in the UK and is less than 5 miles from the Cults Hotel on the south side of the River Dee. It takes approximately 10 minutes to drive to Aspire and the management at the Cults Hotel can easily ensure that a practice bay is reserved for guests on their arrival at Aspire.

Management at the Cults Hotel can arrange tee reservations in advance for guests.

We have recently negotiated with Deeside Golf Club a special midweek visitor’s fee for customers of the Cults Hotel.
  • The Haughton Course (18 holes) £40 per round
  • The Blairs Course (9 holes) £12 per round

These costs are available to all hotel guests on the basis that play commences no later than 4pm Monday – Friday.

All bookings are strictly made through the Cults Hotel and green fees shall be paid directly to the professional (Frank Coutts).

Further afield within one and a half hours drive you can visit and play world renowned courses such as St. Andrew's, Carnoustie, Gleneagles, Kings Barns, St Andrew's Bay and The Dukes.
