About us > Cults Hotel Aberdeen Development
As part of an ongoing commitment to maintain the high standard of facilities on offer at the Cults Hotel Aberdeen, we refurbished our function suites and added 5 new bedrooms during 2004.
Early 2007 saw the last phase of development at the Cults Hotel completed with considerable success and without causing too much disruption which is a tremendous feat considering the amount of work this phase presented.
The new development was undertaken to make the existing building, see Hotel History, accessible for all comers to the hotel. A brand new build to the hotel introduced a new ramp entry way affording ease of access leads into the modern reception area. Here new toilet facilities, stairwell and a lift were introduced. The lift offers access to both function rooms and all bedrooms within the main hotel building including the two new bedrooms that this new build created. These two new rooms were developed with wheelchair users in mind.
The popular Cults Hotel restaurant went through considerable renovation and now provides improved dining whilst maintaining the character and charm for which the Cults Hotel is renowned. There is a new conservatory area, with its glass frontage it has quickly become a very popular choice for all diners.
Our Deeside function room was also refurbished and now provides access to the added attraction of a brand new balcony veranda area that is open to all function and conference users, weather permitting.
