Terms & Conditions

Accommodation

Check In & Check Out

Your room will be ready from 1pm on the day you arrive. If you are due to arrive earlier, please let us know and we will endeavour to have the room ready.

Please be ready to vacate the room by 11am on your day of departure. If you wish to keep your room after 11am then we will try to arrange this for you. If we are unable to accommodate your request, we will be happy to store your luggage while you enjoy the rest of your day.

Cancellations

Monday - Thursday: If you find it necessary to cancel or change your room reservation, please advise us 24 hours prior to your arrival (before 10am).

Friday – Sunday: The hotel operates a non-cancellation policy at the weekend. All cancellations on Friday, Saturday and Sunday will incur a charge of the full room rate.

Smoking Policy

The Cults Hotel is a non-smoking environment, all public areas including the bar and restaurant are smoke free zones. Please be aware that, a breach of the non-smoking policy in your bedroom, will incur an additional charge up to the room rate.

Events, Meetings & Conferences

A provisional booking will be held without obligation for 7 days.

Debit cards, cash, cheques or a valid credit / debit card must be used to guarantee the security deposit prior to check-in. The expiry date of the card must be later than the requested check-out date. We may pre-authorise a credit / debit card for the security deposit to cover damage. This is only charged should there be any damage.

7 Days prior to your event we will require final numbers – this is the amount chargeable.

Full payment will be required within 5 days prior to the event.

Menus may be subject to price alteration if circumstances outwith our control dictate this.

We do not allow refreshments to be supplied by any party other than the hotel.

We reserve the right to cancel a booking without refund if the balance is not received within five days of the event.

Weddings

A non-refundable deposit will be taken at the time of booking.

A £500.00 deposit is required to secure the booking which is non-refundable

Full payment, final numbers and menu choices must be made 3 weeks prior to the day of your wedding. Any additional costs can be settled within 5 days after the event.

Cancellation

We regret the need to levy fees, but we are frequently unable to re-let event spaces, especially at short notice.

Cancellation fee is 100% of original booking price if booking is cancelled within one week of an event, meeting or conference booking and three weeks of a wedding booking. In the event that the balance of the booking is not received within the time stipulated, we reserve the right to take the full amount from the credit / debit card used at time of reservation, up to the full value of the booking. If cancellation is outwith this time-frame, the cancellation charge is the value of the deposit paid or due at time of cancellation.

General

These Terms and Conditions constitute the entire agreement between you and The Cults Hotel. Concerning your use of this Website and supersede any previous arrangement, agreement, undertaking or proposal, written or oral between you and The Cults Hotel. In relation to such matters, The Cults Hotel reserves the right to update these Terms and Conditions at any time. If it does so, the updated version will be effective as soon as it is uploaded on to this Website.
